Dear Friends, Patients and Prescribers,
I am excited to announce that as of February 27, 2023, Live & Learn Compounding Pharmacy will be merging with Family Care Pharmacy. As a result, we will be moving to Plant City.
Since we opened for business in 2008, your loyal support has helped us grow, and now we need more space and resources to serve you better. Our current location’s limited space and parking have become unacceptable. We have been looking for a solution and are so happy to have found it with pharmacist Mark Filosi and compounding manager Lisa Ohall at Family Care Pharmacy in Plant City.
Chris and I will continue to care for our patients in this state-of-the art USP 800 compliant facility, and with the merger we will be joining an outstanding pharmacy team. Family Care Pharmacy shares our values of customer service and loyalty, and a commitment to serving the community. Merging our expertise, knowledge, and talent--and with a combined over 100 years of experience in pharmacy and compounding, we are looking forward to continuing to provide you with the same detail to personal attention you’ve come to expect.
Family Care Pharmacy is a full-service pharmacy, and we can now offer other services and benefits to our patients such as: expanded hours, filling your regular (non-compounded) prescriptions, medical equipment, immunizations, Ideal Protein metabolic weight loss, COVID/FLU testing, auto-refills, even an iPhone/Android app where you will be able to see your profile and much more. Of course, your prescriptions can be shipped to you as in the past!
We know change can be difficult, but Chris, Lisa, Mark, and I are committed to making the transition as smooth as possible for you. Your prescriptions and pharmacy records will be transferred to Family Care Pharmacy on February 27, 2023. You can continue to phone in your refills or take advantage of Family Care Pharmacy’s refill options after you have had your first fill. Our current phone and fax numbers will remain active for some time, and will forward to Family Care Pharmacy, and I have included Family Care Pharmacy’s phone, fax, hours, and location below.
